Design

The design process at Lores is a truly collaborative experience. We begin by inviting you to share your inspiration - whether it’s images, colours you love, or your favourite gemstones. From these personal details, we craft a vision together, drawing on your ideas to create something that reflects your individual style. We’ll explore a range of design possibilities, offering a few bespoke options for you to choose from, each carefully tailored to your preferences. With every detail thoughtfully considered, we’ll refine the design until it’s perfect, ensuring the final piece is not only beautifully unique but deeply meaningful.

CAD - Computer Aided Design

For clients who prefer a 3D visual preview before moving forward, Lorna, the designer and founder of Lores, offers CAD renders to bring your bespoke design to life. This allows you to see a detailed, digital representation of your piece, ensuring that every element - from gemstones to intricate details - aligns with your vision. Whether you're refining the design or simply want to feel confident in the final look, this extra step ensures your jewellery is exactly as you imagined before we begin the crafting process.

Make

Once your bespoke design is confirmed and a 50% deposit is paid, we can begin the manufacturing process. At Lores, we’re committed to sustainability - every piece is crafted using environmentally conscious materials, including recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones. If you’d like, you can even provide your own materials, such as family gold or gemstones, to be reimagined into your new design (learn more on our sentimental gold page). From start to finish, our process reflects a dedication to ethical craftsmanship.

Finishing your bespoke piece is always the most exciting part of the journey.

After all the care and hard work, we finally get to see your design come to life in a beautifully polished ring, pendant, or pair of earrings. Each piece is packaged with love in our eco-friendly, recycled materials, and we’re proud to offer lifelong care to all our customers. With a 6-month warranty after your jewellery is made, discounted repairs, resizing and cleaning for previous customers, we’re here to ensure it stays as perfect as the day you receive it. We’d love to see photos of you wearing your piece, and by referring friends or leaving a review, you can enjoy exclusive discounts.
