Seaweed Ring
This ring was inspired by kelp from the British coastline. It is made from either 9ct yellow recycled gold or silver, depending on which you choose.
Seaweed plays an important role in marine ecosystems, providing food and shelter for ocean life, while absorbing and storing carbon which helps combat ocean acidification.
The plant itself is mesmerising to watch move under the water, ebbing and flowing with the rhythm of ocean currents. These long gentle lines served as inspiration for this piece.
This piece is also available to try on in person at Silver & Steel Studios, Bristol, an independent gallery in Bedminster. Book a private shopping appointment or drop in during open hours. Use the dropdowns above to check available metals and sizes. For lead times and further details, see the dropdowns below, or head to the FAQs for anything else.
Please note: some of these images are renders, this means it is a very close representation of how the finished piece will look without being able to see it in real life. Renders can never be exactly the same as a hand-finished jewellery so please keep that in mind. If the jewellery contains a gemstone or multiple gemstones, the price is based upon tourmalines and you will be contacted for your choice of bespoke gemstone options. Gemstones vary massively in price and it can be hard to choose, luckily one of the team will be excited to talk you through all of your possibilities.
