Bamboo Ring - Silver
Hand carved silver stacking ring, made to resemble the beautiful bamboo plant. Part of my 'Power of Plants' collection. Created to highlight the amazing superpowers that many plants have, so that we can respect them more.
Bamboo has many uses. It is the fastest growing plant on planet earth and produces 30% more oxygen than other plants while absorbing more CO2.🤘🏻 It doesn’t need fertiliser because its own fallen leaves become its food once broken down by fungus. Bamboo’s strong root system helps prevent soil erosion and landslides in areas prone to loss of habitat, can be used to treat wounds, and is a huge part of Asian cuisine. Used for construction, bamboo is actually stronger than steel due to its flexibility and high tensile strength.🌱 Bamboo is also high in phytonutrients and can help prevent heart disease and strokes.
