Designed on CAD and hand finished, this recycled silver ring is inspired by the Cerus cactus, also called the moonlight cactus due to only flowering for a single night, once a year.

They have the largest flowers of the cacti family and are pollinated by moths. The spines on a cactus prevent loss of water via transpiration and keep the plant safe from animals. The water stored in a cactus is safe for humans to drink , but has a higher density than tap water. Certain cacti, when eaten produce hallucinogenic effects and have been used by shamans to communicate with their gods.

You can request different sizes, metals and gemstones or even fully bespoke designs using the contact section of my website. If you do decide to change anything, the piece would become bespoke, extending the lead time to 8-10 weeks. Your piece may arrive with you much sooner than this, but we always allow a longer timeframe to account for any delays in the production process. These timeframes may vary slightly, but this is the nature of handmade work.

Your jewellery may vary ever so slightly from that in the photos. This is because it has been made by a real human, not in a factory. We believe this to be key to the experience of handmade jewellery, that each piece is genuinely unique.
