Engraving - Custom Initials
This service is for engraving your piece of jewellery, whether that’s a ring or pendant. It includes the price of talking through designs, creating script lettering, the hand-engraving, clean and polish and posting of your piece.
Please only purchase this service if you have spoken to one of our team before-hand to make sure it is the best option for you. It is best to know the initials you would like, along with their orientation and layout for the piece just to help us keep the process as smooth as possible for you. You may need to purchase ‘Bespoke Consultation’ for more guidance on design, if you are feeling overwhelmed with creative options - but this is refundable against your jewellery/service.
If you are posting your jewellery to us, know that it is posted at your own risk and Lores is not liable for your jewellery in any way during transit, it is the responsibility of yourself or your mail service. We recommend using Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’ to post your jewellery, let the Royal Mail staff know that it is jewellery inside your parcel, and that you would like it insured to ‘X’ amount. ‘X’ being the value of your jewellery, if you do not tell them the value they will often automatically insure it to a value of £750. This is what you would receive if it was lost in the mail, so try to be accurate in letting them know the value. Jewellery is only insured upto £2500, anything more than that won’t be covered by royal mail. It is extremely rare that any jewellery is lost in the mail, especially with an insured and tracked service like special delivery, but it’s not unheard of.
