This service is for a ring-sizing that involves fabricating a bespoke piece of gold to solder into the back of your ring, such as engraved designs or multi-gold bands. The labour involved with a service like this accounts for approximately half the cost, along with current igh gold prices.

If you are posting your jewellery to us, know that it is posted at your own risk and Lores is not liable for your jewellery in any way during transit, it is the responsibility of yourself or your mail service. We recommend using Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’ to post your jewellery, let the Royal Mail staff know that it is jewellery inside your parcel, and that you would like it insured to ‘X’ amount. ‘X’ being the value of your jewellery, if you do not tell them the value they will often automatically insure it to a value of £750. This is what you would receive if it was lost in the mail, so try to be accurate in letting them know the value. Jewellery is only insured upto £2500, anything more than that won’t be covered by royal mail. It is extremely rare that any jewellery is lost in the mail, especially with an insured and tracked service like special delivery, but it’s not unheard of.
